Many people feel they should wait until after the holidays in order to sell their homes.  The only problem with that is that when they list in the Spring time-guess what?  Everyone else is thinking the same thing making competition higher.  If you sell during the holidays, there typically is not that much competition and you can typically get a good price for your home then.  Most people are in great moods due to the holidays.  You typically get more serious buyers then too!  Your home will show well if it is all decorated for the holidays too and this puts buyers in a good mood too!

These are just some of the pros as to why you should list during the holidays.  And, yes, I am sure you are not wanting people in and out of your house on some days so you can let your real estate agent know this so she can put this information in the MLS.  You can always have your home shown by appointment only so you are not inconvenienced.
